    Are new headsets supposed to sound muffled?


    All of the new headsets I buy wired or wireless all sound muffled and unclear compared to my old cheaper one. Please help! The audio is unbalanced and I don't know what to do.

    muffled sound on headset

    Since some days my headset sounds muffled. Mostly voices are muffled i can hear music just fine. If i don´t plug in the headset all the way, i can hear perfectly fine but then my mic doesn´t work. I have an other headset (not as good) where everything works perfectly fine. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

    Good surround sound headset

    I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Are new headsets supposed to sound muffled? :p

    Are new headsets supposed to sound muffled?

    My headset microphone outputs static/very muffled sound

    so i got a new headset for xmas today and when i plug the headset into the mic jack on my pc and go and record using audacity, it playbacks static/muffled audio. it is not a problem with the mic on the headset because it worked fine on my ipad. my pc does
    get really dusty so mabye some dust could have fell in to the inside of the port and muffled the audio?
