Are regular updates no longer happening?

I've noticed that since the CU update from the second Tuesday in December, I haven't been getting regular security updates anymore. Is that normal? Is MS no longer sending out periodic Windows Defender updates since the last CU?

Are regular updates no longer happening?

I've been getting mine and I have seen other threads recently that have said the same.

    My WD is
    Latest version is 4.18.2011.6-0
Latest version was installed 04/12/2020 10:05
    The definitions version is 1.329.1825.0

You can check updates, including WD definitions updates, in Event viewer. Here is a Custom view definition that you can import.
WU - System log incl Apps.zip
Unzip it then open Event viewer. You'll see the Import custom view item on the right-hand side.

Incidentally, this Custom view will also show you Windows Apps [aka UWP Apps, aka MS Store Apps] updates. I believe that this is the only place their updates are recorded.

Are regular updates no longer happening?

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Are regular updates no longer happening? :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
