Windows 10: Are ther any fixes toward the Solidworks PDM Adress bar that freezes at the location of the...

After the last update of 23 April 2024, I realized that I could not see my address bar path while in File Vault.When I browse normally, it works fine.For example, it should show the following: "This PC > Solidworks V: > PDM > Library..."But it Only Shows the following: This PC > Solidworks V: >"Are there any solutions to this problem?Thank you in advance.

SOLIDWORKS-DTS.evtx will not go away. I have deleted it several times but it reappears.

Understanding that you have tried many ways to uninstall SOLIDWORKS-DTS.evtx with no success, I suggest you to try a complete uninstallation of SOLIDWORKS using the Microsoft fixit tool:

1. Download the Microsoft fixit tool from this link:
   

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...lock-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed

1. Run the downloaded tool and click Next
   
2. Click Uninstalling
   
3. In product selection select ' SOLIDWORKS (version) ' and click Next to follow uninstallation process
   
4. Repeat the process until all the versions of SOLIDWORKS and all the SOLIDWORKS products are uninstalled
   
5. Try installation of SOLIDWORKS

Adresses in mail / person app

On two PC's I have problems when filling the TO field in the mail app when starting a new mail. These PC's are in no way related / sharing information.

• I get NO suggestion for some of the adresses in the people app; for most I do.
  
  When i click the adress book icon at the end of the address field in the new mail, I see the adresses in the list and can select it.
  
• I get suggestions for people who are NOT in my address book.
  
  How can I delete thoses suggestions and how come these adresses pop up?

 

consent.exe periodically working on Solidworks fonts folder

Hi, I have installed Solidworks on my PC's secondary HDD and consent.exe (and others, but baby steps for now) kinda regularly (and frequently) accesses a fonts folder located in the Solidworks installation, thus creating apparently unnecessary activity on my drive.

From what I have seen online, consent.exe should be related to UAC (the path displayed by procmon is C:\WINDOWS\system32\consent.exe so it should not be a virus), so why on earth does it run automatically and periodically without me ever using Solidworks, and why does it so only for that exact folder?? Is there a way to control this kind of activity?
I can provide procmon screenshots if needed.
