Windows 10: Are there different ESU licenses for Win7 and 2008 Server R2 machines?

I have a few 2008 Server R2 machines that I need to update, but I keep getting errors trying to assign the ESU license. A friend told me that there are different ESU licenses for Win7 and 2008 Server. This makes sense, but just wanted to verify. Anyone know for sure? I am attaching a screenshot of the error as well.

when I deploy the patch about the netlogon always failed, and a lot of articles show me the servers are required to applied the ESU license before deploy the patch, but i am not sure this server bought this service or not, because the guide who support
this server already resigned, and no docs show he bought this services or not.

when i check the last server update packet is KB4538483.

 

Windows 2008 R2 server Extended Security Updates ESU activation fails with error 0x8004FE93

Hello gurus:

I have a Windows 2008 R2 ESU activation key that has successfully activated on many servers but a few machines refuse to activate with error code 0x8004FE93.

I found that Windows Activation requires Client side TLS 1.1 which I have enabled and rebooted.

Searching Bing for that error code just gets a bunch of irrelevant responses for Windows 7, office 365, etc.

Does anybody know what is the cause of this error code, and the solution to get ESU key activated ???

Are there any workarounds ?

Windows Server 2008 R2 upgrade to Windows Server 2012 R2

I have server with Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard, license type OEM. I made upgrade from Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard to Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard. I tried to activate it with my Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard product key, but it didn´t work. How I activate my Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard?
