Are there some additonal settings for windows Update and Microsoft Store?

I have found that both Windows Update and the Microsoft Store are trying to do too much at one time. The Store appears to try to download all available Application updates at the same time, or try installing them at the same time.Windows Update wants to restart the computer to install an update even thought it is currently installing or downloading other updates. Is there some way to limit this activity?running windows 10 on an Acer nitro an515-51windows os build: 19041.985

    :)

  2. Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

  3. Microsoft Store is not working

    Hi,

    Thank you for responding.

Do let us know the exact issue you are facing in accessing the Windows Store?

Have you tried to reset the Windows Store as stated in the above response?

If the issue still persists after deploying the above troubleshooting steps, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
    and check.

Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter, troubleshoots problems that may prevent Windows Store Apps from working correctly.

    1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Control Panel.

    2. In the
Control Panel window, select Category and then select
    Large icons.

    3. Click on
    Troubleshooting.

    4. Click
View all and then click Windows Store Apps.

    5. Click
    Next and follow on-screen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

    Steps:

    • Connect to the internet.
    • Press Windows key and type
      updates.
    • Click on Check for updates.
    • Under Windows Updates, click on
      Check for updates.

Are there some additonal settings for windows Update and Microsoft Store?

Windows *Store* - Cannot remove additonal account

I logged into Windows with my son's Microsoft account. I then logged in as myself in the Windows Store. I installed apps that have purchased etc. But if I log myself out of the Microsoft Store, my son is still able to login as me and what's worse is he
can use HIS PIN to log in as me. I can't find anywhere to remove my login from the store.

To make this clear, this is in the Microsoft Store, if he logs out then there is a list of accounts to log in, one is mine, one is his. I want to remove my account from this listing. HOW? Why does it accept HIS PIN into my account?

I have seen suggestions such as: login to https://account.microsoft.com and manage devices and remove PC from list. THIS DOES NOT WORK. And seems overkill anyways if it did.
