Windows 10: Are Windows 10 & 11 blocking my IP geolocation?

I have several Windows weather apps including Radarscope and Strawberry Weather. Problem: About two months ago both of these Windows apps started reporting my geolocation IP address as being 50 miles south of my actual location. Meanwhile, these same apps on my iOS devices iPhone, iPad correctly report my IP geolocation. Is there maybe a Windows setting that is causing this problem?If I browse to https://www.geolocation.com/, I get the message: "User has denied the request for sharing location. Please enable location sharing in web browser." However, location sharing is enabled for both

Convert IP to Geolocation

How do I Convert Multiple IP Addresses into its Geolocation that contains the following: Country, Region, City, Latitude, Longitude, ZIPCode, TimeZone. This must pinpoint the exact location of the IP Address using Bing maps on excel 2016.

 

IP Geolocation via Command Prompt\Powershell


Hello,

I'm looking for a way to check PC's IP Geolocation by using command prompt or powershell (no scripts).
I hope there are some experts here who can help me out. I have found a very easy to do it on UNIX systems but my main machines will be Windows 7/8.1/10 based.

Basically I need something equivalent to this: (This is via Terminal on MacOS)

What in windows 10 needs to connect to Avaya,inc?

Peer block isn't really that good for figuring out what IP belongs where. Their lists basically keep track of IP that were associated with companies and never forget, even if those IPs are not longer associated with said company.

So at some point, 131.253.61.68 was used by Avaya, Inc. However it isn't anymore, it is now a Microsoft controlled IP. But Peeblock will always say Avaya. They never update the lists properly, once the IP is on it, they just keep blocking it forever.

So, Windows 10 is not contacting Avaya, it is contacting Microsoft. And if you put that IP address in the address bar of your browser, it even takes you to a Microsoft webpage.
