  1. Are Windows 10 editions (Home/Pro) key-based or installation-based?

I'd built a new PC and purchased a Windows 10 Home edition activation key. During the Windows 10 ISO file creation, I didn't see any options to create installation files for Home or Pro edition, just simply "Windows 10" (I created the ISO on my Windows 10 Pro laptop). So basically now I have an ISO for "Windows 10" and unspecified edition. My guess is that the edition will be based on the key I will use to activate it later (which is Home edition), am I correct? (This is my first question)

(Second questionAre Windows 10 editions (Home/Pro) key-based or installation-based? :) The thing is that, I don't have a DVD to write the ISO on, and no suitable removable flash drive to do USB installation. However, I have a Windows 10 installation DVD that my dad burned it for me 3 years ago (along with a Pro edition key he gave me, which I'm using on my laptop). So, can I use that DVD to install Windows 10 Home on my newly built PC? Because I'm not sure at the time of creation (around late 2017), if the installation files on the DVD is tied to one edition, or it has always been generic "Windows 10" and the edition would be decided by the activation key later.

    Thank you!

  2. Clean Windows 10 (?PRO?) install

I have bought a legit "Windows 10 Pro" key of a key website. It is legit since i'm currently using it for over a year now. I currently have Windows 10 Pro installed on my PC and I want to do a clean install. I just can't find the windows 10 Pro download in the tool. But if i could use a windows 10 pro key with a normal windows 10 install, I'll be good to go.

  3. Installing Windows 10 using Windows 7 key

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.

    Are Windows 10 editions (Home/Pro) key-based or installation-based?

    Clean Windows 10 (?PRO?) install

As far as I am aware there is no Windows 10 Pro version.
But I'd be happy to be wrong.
