Command and Conquer The First Decade game crashes on Windows 10.

*Original Title: Command and Conquer The First Decade on Windows 10.

I installed Command and Conquer The First Decade on Windows 10, when I play the first game it freezes. I'm assuming it will do this with the other games. I don't have any other operating systems installed and I cant find an Xp operating system cd to install.
Since i hear and have read windows 10 is dual compatible with being able to have 2 operating systems on a computer. Can someone steer me into the right direction? Should i get Xp or 8? How can i find them?

 

command and conquer first decade

I have a Licensed copy of Command and Conquer First Decade, but none of the games will launch after install on windows 10. How do I get this to work without buying a new copy?

 

Command & Conquer The first decade uninstall item stuck in Apps and features

I have been trying to remove Command & Conquer The first decade (2006) from my Windows 10 installation as it does not work properly on it. But I have now ended with a ghost item in the Apps & features as I can't remove the uninstaller item from the list
(it is also stuck in the Programs and Features list).

I had to manually delete all the files since the uninstaller did not work.

The error I get is this.

"RunDLL

There was a problem starting C:\Program

The specified module could not be found."

This was preventing me from uninstalling Command & Conquer The first decade to start with. I have manually deleted the register entries but that has not helped. Any solution on how to remove this last entry without having to reinstall the program (just basic)
is welcomed.

What I have not yet tested is to do a simple reinstall (just one game) and then try to uninstall it again.
