    Arial font issue


    Arial font rendering issue after some W10 update.
    Occurrence: PDF files and all browsers.
    Arial font working OK in other applications. Settings > display > scale and layout 100%. "Adjust ClearType text" OK.

    Some fonts not working in ie11 after windows 10 upgrade

    That's a really "good sounding" answer, but I checked and there seem to be no fonts masquerading as arial, and the arial fonts seem to match the arial fonts on a different machine.

    How to Change this ??

    It looks like the default font in Edge is corrupt, I think, though may be wrong, it is Arial Narrow

    Go to C:\ Windows\Fonts, double click the Arial font, then right click the Arial Narrow Font and select Preview, if the preview is blank the font is corrupt, you will need to replace it - you can copy it from another computer running Windows 10 . . .
