    Ark , Large File Download Issue


    I have tried to download Ark from the Microsoft store. It was downloading fine with details of download speed so I left it over night. In the morning it was paused and refusing to finish downloading about 90% complete. I canceled the download to get it started but haven’t been able to get the bar fill up or the download speed to display. The computers information also claims that there is nothing using the internet apart from small bursts of kilobyte. Re-logging in, restarting the download, restarting the computer, resetting the microsoft store with MSReset through run are all methods that I have tried, to no success. There is valid space on the drive. It is stuck on the downloading page, no bar just saying download, yet nothing is actually getting downloaded.

    I'll try to help you on this issue.

    In order to access the default save location of Windows applications, follow these steps:

    - Open File Explorer

    - On the address bar, type C:\%LocalAppData%\Packages and press Enter.

    Files & Folders View as medium or large Icons

    To assist you better, we would suggest that you try to follow the steps below:

    • Open File Explorer.
    • Once you are viewing a folder, right click an empty space within the File Explorer window and select View from the dialogue menu, then choose Large or any icon you wanted to use. Alternatively, you can use the following shortcut keys on the keyboard to
      change your View settings:
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 1 Extra Large
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 2 Large icons
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 3 Medium Icons
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 4 Small Icons
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 5 List
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 6 Details
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 7 Tiles
    • CTRL + SHIFT + 8 Content
    3. Once you have the view set, you can make it the default view for

    every folder.

    4. Click Apply, then click OK.

    Something wrong with downloads?

    maybe list the specific file you are trying to download. I also just grabbed a download with no issues, and good speed.
