Windows 10: Ark syncing between laptop and console, has that been fixed

Played ark on my asus laptop yesterday morning and got home to play on my console, my data had not been synced from play on the laptop to my console. Game started great on laptop right where I had left off. But when getting home and getting on my big setup nothing had been saved, has this issue been resolved I know it was a problem years ago and I just quit, trying to get back into it..Thanks

Ark Genesis and Ark Evolved

I had bought Ark Genesis for my son last week and he downloaded it but it does not work. It does not even show up in his programs on his computer. When he was going thru Ark evolved and into Ark Genesis it loads half way and stops. I have called to
get tech help on this issue and was transferred 3 times and then on eternal hold. I just disconnected the call because I could not hold any longer, it already had been 45 minutes. Now today Ark Evolved is not working. My son uninstalled it and went to reinstall
it and it showing he has to purchase it. Something weird is going on with these Ark digital downloads. He is using a laptop. I purchased Ark Evolved last November thru Microsoft and he has been playing it since then on his laptop. It does not even show
up under purchases now. We need help in fixing both issues or I need to get a refund at least for Ark Genesis since he has not been able to play it.

 

Xbox Game Pass Ark Data Gone

I regularly play Ark on both PC and my Xbox Series S. Up to this point it has worked fine switching from both consoles and the sync data working. Today I booted up Ark, which synced with the cloud, and all my saved data was gone, it put me at the new character creation. Confused I booted up my xbox and launched Ark there, kicking out my PC session and my game data was just fine on the Xbox. So I ran around for a bit to let it auto save, closed Ark on the xbox, attempted to boot up the pc, which tried to re sync with the cloud and failed stating there was an error syncing. I messed around with it a bit trying to restart my PC / sign in and out of my xbox profile and still didn't have any luck with getting my saved data restored back on my PC. I booted up my xbox with ark, which synced to the cloud, and now that saved data is gone also, and is starting at the new character screen.

What happened and why is my saved data all of a sudden gone?
