Windows 10: Arm Windows 11 issues-drivers/USB recovery drive

ARM Windows 11 to support HASP USB key drivers

I am trying to install drivers for using sentinel hasp USB key on the latest Windows 11 machine running on ARM. However, the installation failed. It appeared that Windows 11 is not supporting such USB drivers yet. Could you please help or advise on how I should get windows 11 to support installation of these USB drivers?

Optical Drive Issue

Appreciate your detailed return. Your added steps really helped.

Assuming I did the steps correctly, this is where I am now.

Screenshot 12 shows my CD Disc shortcut on my desktop.
Screenshot 10 shows the CD Drive shortcut listed in the “Send to” listing.
Screenshot 11 shows the “Send to” listing after the steps were taken, but the CD drive name is not listed.

So, it appears the steps did not work for me. And, I did try the steps, “If it still won’t do ……” and still no luck.

What do you think?

USB drive not selected to create Recovery Drive

This issue could be due to the issues with the USB driver or drive.

Have you tried any other USB drive?

Method 1: Use the hardware troubleshooter to fix the issue

The Hardware Troubleshooter is an automated tool which will check the hardware connected to the computer for any known issues with it and provides the details and on how to fix them. Follow these steps and run the troubleshooter.

Follow these steps:

• Press Windows key to get the Start menu.
• Type Troubleshooting in the search box right up corner and hit enter.
• Click on Troubleshooting tab.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.

Method 2: Update display adapter driver.

Step 1: Check for the latest driver update through Windows Updates.

• At the Start screen, type Windows Update.
• Click or tap Settings on the right side of the screen, and then select Install optional updates from the left results.
• When the Windows Update control panel opens, click on “Check for Updates” on the top left corner to receive a fresh list of updates.

Incompatible or not properly installed graphics card drivers are the most common cause of this issue.

Step 2: Follow the steps below to update the keyboard drivers.

• Press Windows + X key on the keyboard.
• Go to device manager.
• Right-click your keyboard device.
• Click Update Driver Software and then follow the steps in the wizard that appears.

Method 3: Try reinstalling USB controllers from device manager and check.

Uninstalling and reinstalling USB controllers will not affect the USB port, as when you restart the computer/laptop it gets reinstalled automatically.

• • Press Windows Key + X on the keyboard.
    
  • Go to Device Manager.
    
  • Expand the USB Controllers, click on the drivers.
    
  • Click on properties, click on uninstall tab.
    
  • Click OK.
