Windows 10: Arrow and Shapes in Snip & Sketch

Dear MS Team,I have been adding feedback for more than 2 years asking for enhancement in Snip & Sketch tool, our team is using the third-party tool only due to these missing Arrow and shapes in Snip & Sketch.It is really difficult to use a third-party tool and additional paint to eat up our production time.If you enhance it please do the same for the windows recorder too.Thank you awaiting your updates.

I do not disagree with you.

But I would like to defend the developers too, that users with touchscreens should be able to sketch arrows and shapes easily with one hand or pen, rather than clicking on a command then do that. In a way, this tool is targeted more for the touchscreen users.

Arrows in Snip & Sketch

Snip & Sketch got updated a few weeks ago and still no proper way to annotate your screenshots. At this point it's embarrassing, dear Microsoft devs. When will you add arrows and shapes to the screenshot editing tools? It's absolutely essential, yet I
have to open screenshots with third-party apps for that. Seriously?

 

Sketch and Snip

As we are working as a IT support for the secure project, we need to disable the sketch and snip in windows 10 20h2 as well as in 21h2.

We have tried to add the registry keys for DisabledHotKeys as well as NoWinKeys, and we have turned off the hotkeys from the gpedit.msc.

But it is helping to disable the hotkeys only but not the sketch and snip. There are different ways to open the sketch and snip.

1) If we disabled the hotkeys, we are able to open the sketch and snip from start.

2) We are able to open the sketch and snip from the quick actions which is inside the notification bar.

3) We are able to open the sketch and snip by using the command explorer ms-screenclip:

Please suggest here to disable or remove the sketch and snip completely from the Windows 10.
