Windows 10: Arrow key no longer navigates within specific parts of the task bar start menu or search...

I navigate through windows without a mouse. I used to be able to hit the windows key, type the something example: "file", and use the arrow keys to completely navigate the search function. Today, I can no longer navigate the pinned or recently opened portion. Let me be clear, I can still use the arrow keys to navigate the entire rest of the start menu and search bar. The problem that arose is specifically with the pinned and recent files. I've tried different key combinations, turning on and off all locks, keyboard drivers, Windows Updates, and restarting. Press the Tab key twice to get the Start Menu to take focus, then you can use the Arrow keys to navigate the full screen Start Menu

Step 1: I suggest you to run the below PowerShell command to re-register Start menu and check if it helps.

Follow:

  File and on Run new task.

  Type powershell, place a check mark on
  Create this task with administrative privileges and click Ok.

5. Once the command execution is completed successfully, close the PowerShell window and reboot/ restart the computer.

NOTE: When you are running the PowerShell command, I recommend you to close all the apps on your system and try.
