Windows 10: Arrow key not functioning...

Hey, yesterday I got back from some work and found that my up arrow key wasn't functioning. After some time when I was working on my laptop, it was glitching and the up arrow was continuously being inputted and I was unable to scroll down on websites as it kept going up. Please provide me an answer to this problem as soon as possible. I use Windows 11 Home and my laptop has 4

down arrow key stopped working

My razor lycosa down arrow key decided to not respond at some point today. The other ones work and so does the numpad arrow if i turn off the numlock. Sounds like its just broken and im screwed, but any suggestions?

 

Right arrow key doesn't work. Have to press alt+right arrow to function normally.

I don't remember when it started, but I noticed that my right arrow key doesn't function anymore. It is not a physical issue. No dust or anything of that nature physically blocking the key/keycap/etc. Happens on all keyboards I test, so its definitely a software/technical issue.

The only way to actually use the right arrow key is by pressing ALT+right arrow and it functions as intended. Up, left, and down all function normally, but the right does not. I have to press ALT+right arrow to make it work. Can't figure it out.

If issue persists, try to check the system files are they working fine or not and to check that try to run
System File Checker (SFC) tool.



SFC scan will scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

• Press Windows key and
  X at the same time.
• Choose Command Prompt (Admin) from the context menu.
• In the command prompt, type sfc /scannow and hit Enter.
• Exit command prompt.

If issue persists try to create new user profile as an administrator and see if issue persists in new user profile. For creating new user profile you may refer to the steps provided in the article mentioned below.
