Windows 10: Arrow keys on laptop stopped working

Hello, I am using a Windows 11 Laptop and recently I spilled warm coffee it wasn't burning hot but definitely not cold onto my keyboard. Luckily I immediately followed the steps to save it by turning off the power and cleaning it and letting it dry for 24 hours. My PC is still functional as it was only a very minor spill however, i've noticed the arrow keys are now not working properly.At the start, there would be times where It felt like my laptop was automatically pressing the left arrow key resulting in me constantly typing funny and getting irritated. down arrow key stopped working

My razor lycosa down arrow key decided to not respond at some point today. The other ones work and so does the numpad arrow if i turn off the numlock. Sounds like its just broken and im screwed, but any suggestions?

Since you are able to use the other shortcut keys, means that the keyboard works fine. This issue can occur if the
Arrow keys on the keyboard are faulty.

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps:

Method 1:

Try using the Arrow keys on other programs. Check if they are functional.

Most of the sytems have “Fn” key or a Function Lock key. This key can be used to
Enable and Disable the Arrow keys. Check if the
Arrow keys function after toggling the Fn key.

Method 2:

Try connecting a different keyboard to your computer. Try the shortcut keys once again. Check if they works.

Ctrl+arrow keys stopped working

Ctrl+arrow keys set as hotkeys for Office stopped working suddenly. Currently I am experiencing jumping words when I press this hotkey. However, ctrl+shift+arrows works fine,
making me think that the issue is caused by Windows.

It is Dell laptop running Win 10 (1903)
