Windows 10: ArtDio speakers stopped working after a factory reset.

I am running windows 10. My speakers were working, but after I performed a factory reset they no longer work. I have run troubleshooter and updated/uninstalled/reinstalled audio drivers. For some reason it says it's not plugged in but it is? I am at a loss of what to do.

Factory reset reachs 50% and the it stops and With the message There was problem with resetting you computer not changes have been made.

 

HTC HD7 on 02 UK no sound from ear speaker

My first week with the phone was great but it is now driving me nuts. The ear speaker has stopped working. The speaker and on phone mike are still working fine.

I have tried:

• a reboot/reset
• a reboot/reset pulling the battery
• uninstalling any sound apps (HTC's attentive phone app and sound enhancer)
• a full factory reset

Nothing has worked and I am reduced to using the supplied headphones/mike to make any calls.

Any suggestions as to what is wrong or is it time for a trip to the O2 shop for a new handset?

Speakers and headphones work at the same time

• Have you tried connecting your headphones directly to your desktop?
• Does your speaker work normally when connected to your desktop?

You may try the following steps to help resolve your concern:

• Unplug or Disconnect your speaker from the desktop.
• Connect your headphone directly to the desktop.

If the headphone works properly when directly connected to the desktop, we suggest that you contact your speaker manufacturer for assistance.
