    Artifacts around text and icons. Windows 10 @ 1440p.


    Hi, Whenever I have my desktop in the background my text and icons get artifacts around them. Please see image below. I have all apps closed and my desktop background is in focus. I have recently shifted from a 21 inch 1080p to a 32 inch 1440p monitor. I am using a displayport cable.When I have any app in focus, then these artifacts disappear. In the image below I have MS Edge in the background.This happens in all games. apps etc. Please help.

    1440P or 4K


    High on my wish list is the BenQ GW2765 HT which is 1440p and ips, the same size as my LG M2762D, a 1080p tv/monitor. I feel that the 4K monitors may suffer from text size problems in this size range as Bobkn has mentioned.

    Windows 10 desktop icons not in order

    In ccleaner, did you uncheck cleaning the icon cache... have not used in a while; however, I think that is what the option is called.

    Now, if you are setting the icons and they move after you have set the settings and not changed them... you may have the "Random Windows 10 Icon movement problem".
    Some people have this and some don't.
