She is an adult and is already the administrator for her computer. However, there are still some restrictions. As I read the instructions that I can find, I must remove consent before I can remove the member. That scares me because the whole motivation is not to remove consent but to GIVE all possible consent and remove her from the family group so that I no longer have any control.I just want reassurance that the effect of "remove consent" is canceled completely when I remove the member. If not, what should I do?

    Removing members from family

I recently tried to remove a member from my family and it does not work. I tried removing it from both accounts in the family. both accounts say, "Family members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for Ben can remove this family member. Ask the family organizer who granted Ben consent to remove Ben from the family group." when I try to remove the member. there are only to members in this family (that I can see), and It says (in one of the accounts) that I am the family organizer.

  3. Can't remove family members from family group

    Hey all,

I'm the organizer for my family group. I'm trying to remove one of the members of the family group, and it tells me "Family members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for [Member] can remove this family member. Ask the family organizer who granted [Member] consent to remove [Member] from the family group."

I am the person who added this member to the group. I even checked on their profile, and it says I'm the organizer. Why can't I edit/remove this account?

  4. As family organizer, how do I remove a member in such a way that there are no longer any...

Cannot Leave a Family Group, or Remove Members, I am the only Organizer

I have tried to follow the "Right" steps. Please don't refer me to those:

I am the one and only organizer in our family group. With me, there are three kids, who are just members.

    1. I cannot remove kids from the group. When trying, it gives an error message:

"You can't remove zzzzz from the family group

Family members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for zzzzz can remove this family member. Ask the family organizer who granted zzzzz consent to remove zzzzz from the family group."

    2. I cannot remove myself from the family group. When trying, it gives an error message:

    "Something went wrong

We’re having trouble and can’t remove yyyyy from your family group right now. Refresh or wait and try again."

How to proceed? How to get rid of this group?
