    This is odd because I've never had this issue until today, and normally I frequently take it out of my computer to put a different micro SD into it. But now any time I put it into the sd slot my computer straight up blue screens! And if I can't find a fix, my micro sd cards will be completely inaccessible to me!

    For reference I own 2 Micro SD cards. Both are full of nothing except data from my Nintendo Switch. One has 400 screenshots, 1 or 2 games, and over 500 smash bros ultimate replays. I use the adapter to allow said replays to be uploaded to youtube. The other sd card I have has many, many Switch games, and 10,000 screenshots. In fact, that's the limit the Switch will allow. So often I will take the sd adapter out of my computer, briefly swap micro sd cards, move around 3K screenshots at a time to my computer, then put my sd card back in my Switch.

    But last time I did so, once I put the micro sd back in my pc, I God damn blue screened!

    Tested it out, and it's 100% consistent. Any time my usual micro sd adapter goes into the sd card slot of my laptop, Insta blue. Regardless of what micro sd is actually in the adapter.

    If I don't find a fix I may end up having to delete screenshots. I am only 1000 screenshots away from reaching the 10K limit a 4th time!

    To begin with troubleshooting I would like you to answer the following question:


    • Could you please provide the make/model of your laptop?
    The issue might occur due to Viruses, or something changing/deleting
    in Registry Files, a failure during Bootup, or a corrupt file which could be due to age of a computer or viruses or somebody tampering with files.

    Windows 7 Blue Screen of Death!

    This is the first time i have ever got the blue screen, but it keeps on occurring, and so i cannot get onto that hard drive, it shuts down within a second of the blue screen showing itself, which doesnt give me any time to read it lol. So i am completely confused as there is no Path of: "C:\WINDOWS\Minidump" as well
