Windows 10: As of today Microsoft windows or system windows are autoscrolling

Hi,


I now have the unfortunate and frustrating occurrence of most Microsoft system windows Run scrolls through all entries and stops on last one, if I try to type in 'cmd' it just keeps scrolling until it stops at last entry, so all I can Run is Winword for now and even some of Microsoft Apps such as "Your Phone" app to be autoscrolling.


I have

* Changed the USB port for the mouse

* Replaced the battery

* Checked all buttons are clear and none are stuck

* Rebooted the PC

* Uninstalled the mouse completely and reinstalled in a different USB port

* Changed the mouse to a wired mouse

* Ran these: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
sfc /scannow


Suffice to say, nothing has worked.

This seems to occur for unfortunate users too many times without a fix.


Does anyone know a solution that will work? There has to be a setting somewhere that switches this on and off.

So... Lost an account - lost everything, huh? Don't like this system much, but I can't really blame Microsoft for doing that as long as it's the most popular way of handling "protected" stuff (Steam is a "good" example).
There are even few advantages:

• An access to updated and "personalized" ISOs (for example, purchasing Windows 8 will give you Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 Update when they come out). No need to struggle with Windows ADK anymore.
• Easy way of "unbinding" your license if you don't need it on your current (running) system and wish to install it on another machine.

Microsoft has accidentally leaked some details of the price of its next-generation operating system. U.S. full/upgrade prices:

• Windows Vista Ultimate $349/$199

Microsoft Announces Windows Vista Hardware Requirements

Microsoft today announced the official Windows Vista hardware requirements. If you want to run Windows Vista you'll need at least: 800MHz CPU , 512 MB of system memory, a graphics processor that is DirectX 9 capable, and 15 GB HDD free space. If you plan to use the Windows Aero user interface you'll have to own at least:

• 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor.
• 1 GB of system memory.
• A graphics processor that runs Windows Aero.
• 128 MB of graphics memory.
• 40 GB of hard drive capacity with 15 GB free space.
• DVD-ROM Drive.
• Audio output capability.
• Internet access capability.
