Windows 10: Asking for Windows Security login to connect to wifi.

When I am trying to connect to my college's WIFI it is asking me to log into my windows security. I have tried several log ins in all of my accounts and none will work to get me through to the network. Even the log in I used to log into this page to send this message did not work. So I am at a loss and need to be able to log into this network for my school resources and cannot do certain things without out so I need help asap. Thanks so much!

When will the wifi connectivity problems be solved?


OK, so the Windows 10 engineers bollixed up the wifi connectivity part of the operating system. Everybody knows that by now. It seems they are making some progress in resolving it. Now, instead of seeing "Secured, No Internet" on your list of wifi connections, you see "Connected, Secured" EXCEPT no webpages will load. So you really aren't connected. It does seem to be a step in the right direction. Does anybody know when they plan on a full and complete repair of this screw up of epic proportions?

It is not Atheros. It is Attansic.

Drivers on Asus web site under Vista and XP and manual matches this on page 5-2

By force I mean if you ask windows to check it will say everything is great. Browse your computer, pick from a list.

If Atheros drivers are installed they must be removed.

 

Wifi secure login issues

I had my network configurations set to automatically login to my school's secure wifi network using my login credentials for my school. They made me change my password and the first time I tried to log in to the network after changing my password it got
stuck on connecting (it's trying to connect with the wrong password). I "forgot" the network and tried to log into the secure network and it still stuck on "connecting." I essentially tried everything then looked it up on my phone and tried everything again,
step by step, as you guys have told other people to solve similar problems. Nothing seems to work. It worked fine before I changed my password, everything is up to date, I just can't change my login credentials or get windows to prompt me to enter my username
and password. Why can't I just right click on the network name and change my login credentials?
