Windows 10: ASP.NET not updating properly

    ASP.NET not updating properly


    I saw that asp.net was not updating so I got the latest version 5.0 but it is still trying to update to 4.0 even tho 4.8 was previously installed and is now affecting my other updates. what to do so that it doesn't try to update that.

    ASP NET machine account

    The last time Windows 10 updated itself ASP NET machine account took over my admin. and now I can,t update ,uninstall or install new apps.

    How do I get rid of it?

    no im not a developer and i didnt create it because it is built in my system but i suddenly click the ASP. net machine account into administrator

    ASP.NET not updating properly

    ASP-NET Machine account

    My administrator account is now ASP-NET Machine Account and it requires a password every time I try to install/uninstall a program or try to change user settings on my computer. I do not know the password for this account as I did not create it when installing
    Windows 10. Can anyone help me?
