Windows 10: Assistance Required for Retrieving Windows Product Key

I am writing to seek assistance with retrieving my Windows product key.I have attempted the following methods without success:1 Using the Command Prompt with the command wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey.2 Running a PowerShell script: Get-WmiObject -query 'select * from SoftwareLicensingService'.OA3xOriginalProductKey.Unfortunately, these methods did not yield my product key, which leads me to believe that it is not stored in the BIOS/UEFI. Additionally, I recently updated my BIOS settings, and since then, I have been unable to retrieve the product key.It's an O

  Did you download the ISO of the Game from the Steam?
  

It is not Windows Live Key, it’s a game product key which is required to install the game.

I suggest you to check with Steam for Product key and check if it helps.

Can I retrieve windows 7 product key with product ID?

Hi ,

I had a very old laptop which had windows 7 Ultimate system, I forgot to save the product key from my windows 7 and installed windows 10 Pro downloaded from Microsoft website but I still have my product ID from windows 7 ultimate. Is there a way I can retrieve the product key with my product ID?
If it can be retrieved can it still be used to activate my windows 10 which is currently not activated? (Keeping in mind windows 7 and 8 support has ended)

If it can be retrieved how and where can I do that?

Note: I no longer have windows 7 OS on my PC and the several steps given to find product key is not appliable in my case as those steps require me to be on windows 7 again.

Since its an old PC I don't have the original CD drive nor do I have any resources and backup for my Windows 7 ultimate OS

So make sure that you are attempting to upgrade to the Home Single Language Edition. The "about" system settings screen will tell you if it is 32-bits or 64-bits (operating system):





Using the media creation tool, you want the matching 32-bit or 64-bit Single Language Edition:





From the Windows 10 ISO download site, it's just listed as Single Language Edition:





Doing an upgrade to the correct edition Anniversary Update should not ask for a product key.
