    Assistance with understanding a silent install for Windows10


    Hello,

    I am trying to get my head wrapped round what it is I need to do and in what order!!

    So far I have done this

    * Installed Windows 10 on a virtual machine
    * Changed group policy so Windows Firewall and Cortana is turned off (just testing)
    * Ran sysprep /generalize
    * Rebooted into WindowsPE and succesfully converted to a wim file using ImageX
    * Saved the WIM file onto the standard iso and renamed to install.wim

    So my question is this - How do I generate a silent install? I am really confused where it has to go.

    I have tried unattend / autounattend (whats the difference?) and placed it into the root of the Windows ISO.
