Windows 10: Assure

Today, July 14, 2021, I was charged $99 for renewal of my Assure Support. I read the following statement on the Microsoft website: "Premium software support option Microsoft SupportNote: Effective March 2021, our assisted support subscription, Assure, is being retired.Existing Assure subscriptions are still valid, but you won’t be able to renew at the end of your subscription period. Subscriptions with recurring billing turned on will be allowed to expire."If Assure has been retired, why am I getting billed?

Assure subscription

Hi:

I just bought into the "Assure" yesterday at the suggestion of a tech, but have no idea of what it is. I had a virus problem which they fixed, but for the money I spent how long is the subscription for; 6 months or a year and what do I get in return
"that one fix from the other day"?
