    Asus desktop stuck in restart loop during hard reset?


    I have an Asus windows 11 13 gen pc and messed up some settings which wouldn’t allow me to open up any games. I did a soft reset and kept files but that didn’t work so I did a hard reset and now my pc is stuck in a restart loop which now i can only access bios. What settings in bios do I need to change it to so I can log back into pc?

    Stuck in a loop after windows performed repair

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Community.

    We understand your concern and we will provide the information required to help you resolve the issue.

    As per the information that you have provided, I suggest that you perform Power Drain as you are stuck in a loop and this might help you access the desktop screen. To learn how to perform this follow the steps below

    • Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power
      cord.
    • Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
    • Plug the charger/power cord and restart system

    Asus desktop running Windows 10- stuck in automatic repair loop- ran Chkdsk and get unspecified error has occurred- failed to transfer logged messages to event log with status 50- Can get into bios but windows does not start with repair disc- will not
    accept loading from recovery disc
