Windows 10: asus driver update

is at the asus laptop or the asus support site no tool to update your current drivers to the latest version?
I have the impression you have to download each drive manualy.
(i ask it because probably I will soon buy an asus laptop)

how to exclude an update on windows 10

i have a problem with asus K46cb , windows update always keep updating my touchpad driver ( Asus Smart Gesture ) with a other driver (Toshiba Elantech Touchpad ) which is didn't have same feature with Asus smart gesture , How to Exclude an update???

Download the driver and copy it to a folder on your desktop. Write down the path to the folder. If the driver has been zipped you will need to right click on the file and extract to your folder.



Use the keyboard shortcut Win+X to access Device Manager. Locate and right click on the device and select Properties. Click on the Driver tab and the Update Driver button. Click on “Browse my computer for driver”
” (do not select Search automatically for updated driver) and click the
Browse button. Type in the Search box the file path to your folder and click on Next. The system should find the driver in your folder and update. If it does not find the driver recheck that the driver is not zipped.

 

Asus comes with a update manager normally which checks for updates for you so you don't have to go looking for them

 

Don't expect that the drivers from Asus (or any other vendor) are the latest, worth it to check the supplier websites if there are new drivers available
