Windows 10: Asus F15 TUF laptop not working on battery

I bought an Asus F15 TUF gaming laptop and since the day i bought itbrand new, it never worked properly without the charger plugged in. On battery power it doesnt even do normal tasks like using google or watching youtube. It lags so much i know while gaming it needs to be plugged in but even when im not playing games it just doesnt work on battery power. Ive tried resetting it and taking it to the bestbuy team but they couldnt fix it. Any fixes for laptop not working smoothly without charger?

For this, you can try the following suggestions:

1. Update drivers and BIOS: Make sure all drivers (especially graphics card drivers) and BIOS are up to date. Manufacturers often release updates that can fix problems like the one you're experiencing. You can visit your laptop's website to download the appropriate drivers and install them to see if the problem persists.

2. Check the memory: Use the memory diagnostic program in Windows to test all of the system memory.
   
   • Press Windows + R, type 'MdSched', Enter and then open 'Memory Diagnostic Tool'.
     
   • Tap on 'Restart now and check for problems'.
     
   • Follow the prompts to check, wait for it to complete, and check the report to see if any problems are detected.
     
3. Check Event Viewer: Check the Windows Event Viewer, which you can open by searching for 'Event Viewer' in the start menu and locate it at Windows logs > Application. see if there are any logs showing what caused the reboot. Look for critical errors or warnings that occurred before the reboot.
   
4. Hardware Diagnostics: Run a hardware diagnostic test. ASUS laptops usually have an in-built diagnostic tool, which can be accessed by pressing a key (usually F9, but check your laptop manual) during the boot process.
   
5. New Account: To rule out Windows, you can try creating a new account and see if the problem persists under the new account.

Asus Tuf Gaming F15 Wi-fi problem

I am not a very technical guy, but I had the same problem. I went to ASUS TUF Gaming F15｜Laptops For Gaming｜ASUS Global, picked my specific model - and downloaded the drivers related to network/wifi. It was called "MediaTek WLAN Driver" - after this the wifi cutouts stopped happening.

Hope this works for anyone else

EDIT: This worked for a solid 24 hours before it reverted back to its old self. After this in the towel and have now reset my PC and it is working good so far.

 

Asus Tuf Gaming F15 Wi-fi problem

I tried all steps on Asus F15 that is writen above and none helped. Only way to make your wi fi work normaly again is reinstal to windows 10.
