Windows 10: Asus Laptop Abruptly Shuts Down

Hello!I have an Asus x571GT, and 7 days ago my laptop suddenly shut down twice within the span of 3 hours. Without warning. Both times it rebooted and at the Windows loading screen it said it had a errors on the C drive. I go to the C drive, Right Click > Tools > Error checking and it said it had an error. I fix the error and for 7 days, it worked fine until tonight when it shut down abruptly again. However, booting back up again, it didn't say any errors on the Windows loading screen and both Hard Drives are working fine after the error check.BUT, I did notice this time

Still having the same problem Laptop powers off abruptly.

I've followed all the steps suggested. I'm sending a ling to the Event Viewer log

Laptop Shutting down abruptly and not turning on until the battery is removed and inserted again

It happened again...laptop has shut down abruptly.....is there any other way to solve this?

 

Laptop shuts down abruptly instead of hibernating

I have Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52 laptop running 64 bit windows 10 Home Single Language, 21H2, build 19044.1889. Since almost a week, I have been having multiple instances when my laptop shuts down abruptly instead of hibernating. Sometimes it hibernates normally but most of the times it gets shutdown abruptly instead of hibernating. Running sfc /scannow showed no errors.

I searched online and it's common issue.

I followed methods no. 3 (changing power settings) and 5 (Prevent your PC to turn off USB devices in order to save power) and 6 (use default power plans) given here but still no success.


FIX: Windows 10/11 shuts down instead of hibernating/sleep

The BIOS is updated and I don't have any motionjoy drivers installed.

Method no. 1 and 2 look risky and I feel that I accidentally might break some important system setting. Is there any other method that I can use to let my laptop hibernate normally?
