Windows 10: ASUS Laptop Repeatedly Disconnects from Wireless Network

My ASUS laptop, which uses Windows 10, has recently started to disconnect itself from my WiFi network at random. The network I was using still appears in the network list screen, but it will not connect if you click on it. The Qualcomm Atheros AR985 Wireless Network Adapter has been updated. Tried disabling and enabling it. Even tried uninstalling the network adapter and restart the laptop, but the problem still persists. Only way I can temporarily connect to my network is by restarting it or wake it up after it goes into sleep mode. All other devices in my home still connect with my network with no problem. Would really appreciate assistance.

ASUS Laptop + Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter + Windows 10: Laptop keeps disconnecting from wifi

I'm having an ASUS laptop with Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter running Windows 10. My laptop keeps disconnecting from wifi network very often, sometimes every hour or so. Once it happens, the only way I can reconnect to wifi is to restart
the laptop (and pray that it can stay connected for a while). I have made the wifi network private and also tried some suggestions on this forum, such as updating manually the driver for the wireless adapter. I did it by downloading the driver from Qualcomm
website as I could not find the driver installation setup program to run in compatibility mode. However, the problem persisted. I am now too tired of having to restart my laptop 10 times a day.

Can you please help me solving this issue? Thanks in advance.

 

Wireless Network

Thanks for trying the steps again. It's now clear that the problem is on your router. To reconnect your laptop to the network, we suggest that you set or specify the channel of your wireless network. If you can access your router's user interface, set the
channel to either channel 1, 6, or 11. Once done, remove your WiFi network from your preferred network list, then reconnect.

Wireless printer connectivity from a wireless laptop.

I have an ASUS (Windows 10) laptop that connects to my wireless network fine. The problem is that it doesn't see any of my wireless printers. I have 2 Brother and 1 HP wireless printers. Wired printers work fine. If I connect this laptop to my network
wired I can see, connect and print to these printers. When I disconnect the wired connection and go back to wireless the printers go gray. I have removed and reinstalled these printers which did not fix the problem. Other wired PCs work fine with these printers.
Any suggestions?
