Windows 10: ASUs Laptop touchpad isn’t working

This has happened repeatedly and At first when it started, rebooting it would make it come back, if not that changing the value for 1 to 0 on the command centre and restarting would bring it back. I didn’t use my laptop for a while and after turning it on the cursor had disappeared again .I tried everything, pressing F6 which only showed my touchpad disabled not enabled I tried to delete and redownload the mouse on drivers but it didn’t even show up, none of the usual fixes are also working

Touchpad isn´t working

Hi there,

i did the update for Windows 11 on my Asus Zenbook. Now the touchpad doesn´t work anymore. If i try to update the Treiber, it says it´s allready updated. Can´t even find the touchpad in device manager anymore..

Anyone can help me please ?

Touchpad not working and sound problem on Asus Laptop

I'f installed Windows 10 on my Asus laptop. Since then my touchpad isn't working at all and my speaker is screwed. There was an update from asus for the touchpad but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions what I can do?

There's a possibility that you're getting this concern due to an out-dated driver. For us to better assist you, we'd like to ask a few questions:

• Were there any recent changes prior to the issue?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

In the meantime, we suggest that you check if ASUS Touchpad is enabled on your device. To do that, you may follow these steps:

• Type Settingson the search bar and press Enter.
• Select Devices.
• Click Mouse & touchpad.
• Select Additional mouse options on the right pane.
• Choose Device Settings (some called ELAN) pane, check Yes/No of Touchpad. If
  No, click Enable and select OK.
