    Asus Laptop Win 10 v 2004 Upgrade Failure (UNDOING CHANGES)


    Hi, I've tried a bunch of solutions listed on Microsoft site for failed version 2004 updates.
    I'm starting to wonder if this is an issue with my Asus N550JV laptop.
    What happens is it goes thru the entire install process until it gets to the point of restarting and getting things set up and then wwwooops I get a black screen that says it is Undoing Changes ...

    What could be causing this? I'm hoping to get some leads on this forum...

    WIN 10 upgrade from V 1903 to V 2004

    I recently purchased an HP Envy Laptop and it came installed with V. 1903 Build 18362.778, install date 03/17/20.

    EDGE version is 84.0.522.44.

    I have Windows Updates paused thru 02/08/21.

    My Laptop & Windows & Applications are working just fine.

    I create manual Restore Points on C drive & create USB Recovery Drives on a frequent schedule.

    How long can I safely stay on V. 1903?

    With the seemingly constant news of issues with V. 2004, how safe or stable is it to upgrade to V. 2004 as of July 28, 2020?

    Asus Laptop Win 8.1 toWin 10 Won't update

    Purchased my Asus i3 laptop in 2013, upgraded to 8.1 from 8 shortly after purchase. Now want to upgrade to 10. have downloaded files and clicked on "update and shut down" After reboot, get message "Unable to complete update. Undoing changes Please don't
    turn off computer". Removed all accessories, thumb drives, etc., failure persists.
