Windows 10: [ASUS Laptop - Windows 10] Auto restarts when awaken from sleep

I have an device [ASUS Laptop X550J] running on Windows 10 64-bit.


I could put the device into sleep mode, however, the device would automatically restart itself when it is being waken from sleep mode.


I have tried "waking" the device via i power button; ii touchpad; iii keyboard; and iv mouse, and it all led to the same result -- auto restart.


This problem started to occur in the recent week e.g. 12 Jan 2021.

Not Awakening from Sleep Mode

My windows 10 computer will not awaken from sleep mode-any suggestions?

Problem: about 80% of the time, my laptop won't wake up from sleep mode via keyboard press or mouse move/click. I seem to be missing many common features in power plan too, even after fresh Windows 10 install.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Reinstalled Windows 10 (clean)
2. Updated all drivers
3. Replicated on multiple Windows 10 versions, updates
4. BIOS latest version
5. No USB devices attached, ever. Only USB-C power and bluetooth mouse
6. Disabled "fast startup" in control panel

 

Failure to awaken.

I have a dell Inspiron 17 laptop running Windows 10. Sometimes when I leave my computer and it "goes to sleep" it won't wake up. I have to press the power button until it shuts off and then restart the computer. When it comes back on i get three choices,
one of which is continue to Windows 10. Click on that and computer restarts. Other times when it is sleeping, the computer will awaken normally. Help??
