Windows 10: Asus M4N68T-M V2 vs. GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 R2 Motherboards

Hello all, The situation I'm having with these motherboards. The Asus, I've been running for quite sometime now (about 5 years) and it took a crap on me recently (the LAN speed just dropped dramatically - I did everything I need to get the download/upload speed back then, I knew something was wrong with the mobo). Then, I bought the Gigabyte motherboard and this motherboard is crazy because the SATA sockets where my hardware plugs in, is not matching what the BIOS is saying. I'm having a hell of a time installing Windows 10 on it. I did at one point successfully installed it but, it won't boot correctly (the LAN speed on this board is good. I finally got my speeds back when I installed this new mobo but, now it won't load correctly. The Asus M4N68T-M V2 mobo, ran Windows 10 just fine... thinking of going back. *092I've done my research on this Gigabyte board and I've found a post in New Egg saying, 'to make sure you have Legacy turned on' - I've been looking all over the BIOS for this option and I can't find it. *Rolleyes - *chuckleI'm thinking of returning this Gigabyte mobo and go back to the ASUS motherboard.Do I make sense? LOL..*Smile well, enough rambling. Anyways, I've joined this forum to get some help with my situation and I'm really am pulling my hairs just to get this new mobo going. - I think, Im going to buy the old mobo that I had before (ASUS M4N68T-M V2) and return this Gigabyte mobo back to newegg.Suggestions? BSOD - multiple on new build with windows 10

I have had multiple shutdowns with blue screens

Windows 10 Pro installed from MS CD. Install was a clean install on a new hard drive.

I have run the installation a second time from the cd - shutdowns continue.

Stopcodes received in the last 2 days:

Stop codes:

-memory management

-system service exception

-PFN List Corrupt

-Quota underflow

-System thread exception not handled



Gigabyte Motherboard:

GA-78LMT-USB3 R2 MOBO

AMD Processor:

AMD FX 8350

 

Multiple BSOD's (Do Not Know Why)

Probably caused by : memory corruption

The motherboard is not Windows 10 Certified. The manufacturer not provide continuous support for this device. (major components Windows 10 compatible chipset Driver etc.)

Try to update the BIOS the latest version is

gM4N68T-M-V2 BIOS 1001 Improve memory compatibility

if the BIOS update not help Run MemTest.

Typing this response from an Asus M4N68T-M V2 µATX Motherboard with an AMD Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition. Been using this PC for a long time now, its my main desktop. I've thought about buying a new setup just never pulled the trigger. I've owned one GigaByte motherboard and it was a PITA to setup. I never did get it working and returned it. Windows installed Ok but I had all kinds of hardware issues in device manager. Haven't touched that brand since. That was a long time ago though. I'm no expert but as far as I know you shouldn't have to switch a motherboard into legacy to install Windows. I don't on my two UEFI laptops. They are pretty well the way they came from the factory. All I've done is change the boot order and disabled a few boot options I'd never use.
