Windows 10: ASUS M51AC compatible with Windows 10, 1803 release?

Discus and support ASUS M51AC compatible with Windows 10, 1803 release? in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; I updated to Windows 10 in 2016 from Windows 8.     ASUS M51AC compatible with Windows 10, 1803 release?


    I updated to Windows 10 in 2016 from Windows 8. Ran fine up to MS Windows 10 version 1709 release, but now with version 1803 installed power-up goes to black screen and no longer sees graphics card. Is my ASUS M51AC desktop compatible with MS Windows 10 running this new 1803 version? Am I wasting time and money to trouble shoot this?

    ASUS Motherboard compatibility


    My Asus MB (M4A89GTD PRO/USB3) is about 5 years old. I have successfully upgraded from Win 7 Pro to Win 10. However, running on Win 10 my PC frequently locks up and has to be re-booted. As a result I down-graded to Win 7 and now all is ok. ASUS does not include this board in the list of Win 10 compatible boards but they state that it might achieve compatibility in the future.
    I would like to avoid purchasing a new board and removing/replacing my existing board. If there is no way to make my existing board work with Win 10 could you suggest a good replacement AMD board - I am not a gamer.
    Any one got a good suggestion.

    Update to Windows 10 removed some ASUS products

    Hello,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I would suggest you to check in the ASUS website for the updated version of the ASUS products gets released for Windows 10 or you may try installing the programs in the Compatibility mode and check if it helps.

    Refer to the below steps to install a program in compatibility mode.

    Refer the steps to install a program in compatibility mode:

    a. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select
    Properties

    b. Select Compatibility Tab

    c. Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list

    d. Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.

    Asus P8Z68 Deluxe Compatibility with Windows 10


    The Asus support page lists Win 10 X64. Other than Realtek audio drivers, none are offered. That suggests that most of the necessary drivers are included in the Windows installation or through Windows Update.

    I think it should work just fine.
