Windows 10: Asus n56vz bios problem

Hi!my laptop asus n56vz after doing a fresh install of windows 10 some settings have been lost bios menu uefi setting launch csm - secure boot - fast boot missing in bios.I made the bios settings as default,I took out the bios battery,I reset the hard drive diskpart but it didn't!!please help me!!!3 - 17 November Yandex.Disk

Stuck 2.5MM audio jack for subwoofer on ASUS N56VZ

I have an N56VZ that comes with an external subwoofer. Some uninteligent person decided to grab the speaker and yank as hard as he could to listen to it -_- now half the jack is stuck and the port is filled with super glue... I regret letting him fix it, I don't know why I did that. Is there anyway to get the other half of the jack out? If not, how much does it cost to fix at ASUS. Thanks for the help!

 

Unable to install Asus smart gesture driver on Windows 10

I went through each of your attempts throughout this entire thread and tried everything that was advised only to experience the same problems as you. Here is what worked for me:

I went to the ASUS Support page for my model (U56E) and looked at older drivers for the Windows 7 version only to see that ASUS puts out Elantech drivers.

Try:

• N56VZ Driver & Tools | Laptops | ASUS USA
• Select Driver & Tools
• Choose Windows 7 OS
• Download and install Version V10.5.9.0 Elantech Drivers

This worked for me. Also, be sure to uninstall the ASUS Smart Gesture drivers you installed earlier to avoid conflicting hardware through Device Manager.
