Windows 10: Asus Optimizatin always reset my wallpaper to default.

I bought a zenbook 14 2022 version , i found out that my wallpaper is always been reset to default everytime i restart. The only way is to stop Asus optimization service, but if stop asus optimization , the hot key of zenbook is not working anymore. Is there another way to solve it ?

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.


First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

Break command list: Break Commands

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".

 

Desktop wallpaper resets to default image every time I restart computer

Hello,

I've just bought a new laptop with Windows 10 (an Asus Vivobook Pro 14x) and it happens that every time I try to replace the default desktop wallpaper with a new one, it reverts to the default desktop every time I restart the computer (sometimes the new wallpaper appears for a few seconds after restarting but it always reverts to the default one).

I tried the "delete slideshow.ini" solution but it didn't work (this file is actually always blank by default).

However, I tried another solution by performing a clean boot and it appeared to be fixed: I got access to msconfig and performed a Selective Startup, then Disabled all non-Microsoft services on the Task Manager and restart the computer. After this restart, I tried to change the desktop wallpaper and restart once again, and surprisingly when it turned on, the new wallpaper was there.

Unfortunately, then I selected again the Normal Startup option to reset eveything, and after restarting, the issue showed up again so that the default wallpaper appeared again.

EDIT: after Disabling all non-Microsoft services and disabling only one at a time before restarting, testing one by one, I found out that the issue is related to the "Asus Optimization" service since this is only happening when it is Enabled.

So now the thing is: how could I solve it?
