Windows 10: ASUS PCE-AC68

Discus and support ASUS PCE-AC68 in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I am unable to connect my Win 10 computer to the wifi. I am using an ASUS PCE-AC68 adaptor.     I am unable to connect my Win 10 computer to the wifi. I am using an ASUS PCE-AC68 adaptor. My son who is a professional tekkie has spent hours trying to make it work, without success, doing all the things Windows tells you to do. It appears to install nicely. But when I try to install the router password, many times, the software says: "unable to connect to the network." Internet provider is adament their system is not at fault, and to be fair, all my other devices connect to the wifi. But not this one. This is a brand new drive and a brand new Win 10 install to the solid state drive C. Apparently, there are compatability issues between Asus, Broadcom, who make part of the device, and Microsoft. Can you offer me a solution? I have spent a week on this and I am not impressed with any of the afore-mentioned three brands. HELP!

    After this newest update to windows 10 my Asus PCE AC68 drivers are no longer supported it seems, I've done the uninstall and reinstall trick but no luck, and I have to keep rolling windows back just for it to auto update the next day, does anyone have
    a possible solution?

    Wireless-AC1900 - Asus PCE-AC68


    Asus just made available a new Windows 10 BETA driver for their Wireless PCE-AC68 adapter in their support download area. They are halfway there! I got a good connection in the 2.4 GHz band - 72Mbps. In the 5GHz band I got a limited connection - NO Internet. It worked fine with Windows 8.1 so I know it is not my router that is the problem.

    I paid for 1300 Mbps. Back to waiting. *Sad
