Windows 10: ASUS Q538E Touchpad Has Duplicates in The Device Manager with Code 10 Device Cannot Start

I had to replace my existing OEM battery. After doing this, I saw my touchpad could not start. touchpad on ASUS F555U not recognised in Device manager.

Hi,

I suggest you to try uninstalling the touchpad driver and restart the computer and have Windows automatically install the latest driver upon restart.

1. Press Windows key + X and select device manager.

2. Expand biometric devices.

3. Right click on the touchpad driver and uninstall it.

4. Restart the computer and check the functionality.

If that doesn't help, I suggest you to contact Asus support for help with downloading the latest available touchpad driver.
