    I had to replace my existing OEM battery. After doing this, I saw my touchpad could not start.   2. Touchpad not working, error code 10 in device manager

    Hello,

    We realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with Touchpad not working in Windows 10. We will certainly help you.

    A Code 10 error is generated in Device Manager in one of the following situations:

    • Device Manager can't start the device.
    • One of the drivers that the device needs does not start.

  3. touchpad on ASUS F555U not recognised in Device manager.

    Hi,

    I suggest you to try uninstalling the touchpad driver and restart the computer and have Windows automatically install the latest driver upon restart.

    1. Press Windows key + X and select device manager.

    2. Expand biometric devices.

    3. Right click on the touchpad driver and uninstall it.

    4. Restart the computer and check the functionality.

    If that doesn't help, I suggest you to contact Asus support for help with downloading the latest available touchpad driver.
