Hello ,

Good to see you in Microsoft Community.

Firstly, could you let me know the specific system version (OS Build)? You can check it by pressing Win + X > System > Windows specifications, click “Copy” and paste it in your next reply.

Then please check the basic hardware information of your device. Win + Q to open the search box, type “msinfo32”, then open “System Information”, please take a screenshot of it and attach it to your next reply. As the Strix G16 has multiple specific models. Visit Strix G16 | ROG Gaming Laptops | ASUS US for more details.

Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

Did this occur recently, or has it been going on for a while? If it was recent, did you have any special actions (such as installing system updates, hardware changes, etc.) before that?

Please check if there are .dmp files in the C:\Windows\Minidump directory.
    • If so, package these files, upload them to OneDrive, and share them, and then include a link to share them in the next reply. Since these files detail exactly what happened when your system crashed, this helps us resolve your issue.
    • If not, run the following command to enable it. Win logo key + Q, open the search box, type "cmd", then right-click Command Prompt, select Run as administrator), and then type the following command.
This is to enable blue screen logging. You need to access the C:\Windows\Minidump directory to see if there are .dmp files after the next blue screen appears.

Now, you may reinstall all drivers, especially the graphics card driver and the chipset driver. Visit the official website of your device manufacturer to download the corresponding model driver, and then install it manually, and restart to see if it works.

If the problem still exits, you may in-place upgrade the system (which will not affect your data and applications, just update all the system files are the latest), I will provide the specific operation steps according to your repair result in the next reply.

If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,
