Windows 10: ASUS SonicMaster laptop Windows 11 S mode & HP Deskjet 2540 printer

Discus and support ASUS SonicMaster laptop Windows 11 S mode & HP Deskjet 2540 printer in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have an ASUS SonicMaster laptop Windows 11 S mode and HP Deskjet 2540 printer.     ASUS SonicMaster laptop Windows 11 S mode & HP Deskjet 2540 printer


    I have an ASUS SonicMaster laptop Windows 11 S mode and HP Deskjet 2540 printer. I need to download drivers from HP but of course that's not allowed because it"s not "verified" by the Microsoft store. What are my options other than exiting S mode.

    Today I installed the latest version of the HP Deskjet 2540 all in one from the HP site.

    Than once more I ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter and it fixed something.

    At last I searched for updates in Windows 10 on my computer, but again our old friend "HP - Printers - HP Deskjet 2540 series - Fout 0x80240017" came back to stay.

    I hope one of the future updates from Windows 10 solves my problem.

    The printer works...

    Hi

    There is no issue with the printer. The problem is with windows update continually failing to install an update for the HP printer.

    The error message is:

    HP - Printers - HP Deskjet 2540 series - Error 0x80240017

    Every time the following update in Windows 10 is rejected:

    HP - Printers - HP Deskjet 2540 series - Fout 0x80240017

    This is strange while everything is still working fine
