Windows 10: Asus tuf a16 does not work on battery when installing drivers from AMD website. Works fine...

My model is FA617NS. My screen freezes whenever my dgpu is driving the display and power is not plugged in after downloading from AMD website. I plug it back in and after about 30 sec it works just fine.

Drivers not working - TUF GAMING FX504GD_FX80GD

Hey guys,

I just bought my ASUS TUF GAMING FX504GD yesterday and i've got several issues at the moment.

My touchpad does not work what so ever, except while in BIOS.. Drivers either won't install or don't work.

Also i'm pretty sure drivers for my graphics aren't working..

I'm running Win 10 64-bit

TUF GAMING FX504GD_FX80GD

The drivers i downloaded all come from this link: ASUS Global

Please advise

 

Nvidia Graphic Drivers installed but not working in windows 11 on ASUS TUF F15

My windows 11 is using the intel integrated graphics instead of the nvidia graphics.

Nvidia Control Pannel is not openning

Driver is clearly showing in Device Manager but not showing in Task Manager.

The graphic card is also deceted in Bios.



Some steps I have already done but not work

1. Completely I unstalled the driver and reinstalled

2. I Checked in Aymory Crate, its in Standard Mode not Eco Mode

3. I updated the Graphic Driver from Nvidia Website

4. I also updated the from from ASUS Official Driver Support Wesite

5. I updated the ASUS Bios

6. I restart the Nvidia Display Container Ls from Services

Here is my laptop specs:

ASUS TUF F15 FX506HC
Core i15 11400H
NVIDIA RTX 3050 4GB GPU
16GB RAM

Please give me a solution of this problem

Repeated crashes and BSOD on ASUS TUF A15

Same issues here, only on an Asus TUF A17 FA706IU (same CPU). Crashes, G/BSOD, freezing on sleep, random reboots w/o BSOD, etc.

And I've tried much of what everybody here as tried:

• Clean install of Win10 and Win11 (many times!)
  
• Using NVIDIA and AMD drivers as opposed to Asus-provided drivers
  
• Swapped out RAM and M.2 drives 3x (meaning different RAM and M.2 drives)
  
• Ran all the usual diag. software and stress-tests (no definitive results)
  
• And so much more...
  

I've yet to try Fadjri Aladin's solution, which a goodly number of folks on this thread have endorsed--I will try soon.

Clearly, Asus is at fault here. We could, of course, put the onus on AMD, but it's on Asus to assure the stability of their builds.

I've been in IT (hardware side) since the mid-late 80's and have built many custom PCs over the years and serviced 100's PCs as well. This laptop is the buggiest and most troublesome computer I've ever owned and tops the list of any I've worked over the last 30+ years. That's saying something. Most of the custom gaming rigs I've put together (for myself and my clients) have been built around Asus mobos. So I'm a fan. This machine has significantly dampened my enthusiasm for all things Asus. Sad...

I'll report back on how it goes with Fadjri Aladin's work-a-round.
