Windows 10: Asus UX430UAR not returning from sleep

I’ve been having problems with my laptop since installing a Windows 10 feature pack last September. It works find during the day and I can switch it on or off using the power button or the lid. However, some mornings the laptop is warm to touch and will not wakeup. There is one flashing LED on the right-side and a second LED if plugged-in. I tried connecting an external monitor and keyboard but the only way start the PC is to hold down the power button to reboot.


Other mornings it wakes up fine either from sleep o hibernation if the battery was low.

Unable to find problem, I reset the PC with the cloud option over Xmas and the PC rebooted with the original Asus apps but it is not in factory state, having updated drivers and Windows elements. Actual status after reset:

Since feb the longest period of continuous operation has been 5 days, mostly the laptop crashes the second night after reboot but can fail the same night.


The device manager and INTEL updater report nothing, as does the power troubleshoots. Everything runs well and appears fine during the day. In the system event viewer, there are few warnings when I reboot:


The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device ACPI\ACPI0008\2&daba3ff&1.

The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device ACPI\INT3400\2&daba3ff&1.


The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device USB\VID_04F3&PID_0903\5&13a213fa&0&9.


6000 - BSS missed beacons. This event is info event which is used for debug purposes only



I have refreshed the BIOS I already had the latest 308, and reinstalled the Intel Serial v30.100.1724.2 and chipset 10.1.1.44 in C:\eSupport\eDriver\Software. I tried disabling FASTboot in power options and BIOS, and disabling “Write caching policy” on SDD, and removing the depreciated "Intel® Rapid Storage Technology.



Don't know what else to do, any help appreciated.

I was wondering if you guys still had this problem. I found a recent fix for my girlfriends ASUS laptop, thanks to you guys.

Problem: about 80% of the time, my laptop won't wake up from sleep mode via keyboard press or mouse move/click. I seem to be missing many common features in power plan too, even after fresh Windows 10 install.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Reinstalled Windows 10 (clean)
2. Updated all drivers
3. Replicated on multiple Windows 10 versions, updates
4. BIOS latest version
5. No USB devices attached, ever. Only USB-C power and bluetooth mouse
6. Disabled "fast startup" in control panel
