Windows 10: ASUS VG289Q 3840x2160 screen distortion - aspect ratio 1.82 not 1,777777

I have an ASUS VG289Q 28 ”3840x2160 monitor. Thismonitor has non-square pixels. The DPI are different vertically andhorizontally. The aspect ratio of the screen is 1.82, not 1.7777 = 3840/2160.As a result, there is distortion on the VG289Q screen. For example, inMicrosoft Word DPI aware I am unable to fit an A4 document onto a real A4sheet of paper. The onscreen A4 is stretched horizontally. The circles looklike ellipses… And so on. Distortions are noticeable - up to 7-8 mm for largeshapes. It’s quite frustrating! How can I set different vertical and horizontalDPI?On Mac OS

Aspect Ratio (Windows10)

It seems that my screen is too wide for the display to not be distorted. I want to know if I can change the aspect ratio to accommodate the width of the monitor. I have already tried all the choices for resolution settings, and they are not really the
problem.

So the Windows 10 lock screen slideshow has limitations on the aspect ratio of images it displays. It prefers landscape images over portrait, but can not display panorama (like 4:1 aspect ratio).

I understand your concern, make sure you are logged in as admin. After that please follow the steps below and check the aspect ratio.

  Right click on Desktop.
  
• 
  Click on Personalize.
  
• 
  Advanced display settings,
  
• 
  Display Adapter properties
  
• 
  Monitor>scaling>Change Aspect Ratio.
