Windows 10: Asus Vivo Tab 8 will not restart hard reset.

Asus Vivo Tab 8 will not restart after trying to do a hard reset. What do I do? It doesn’t look like the hard reset was completed. When I try to restore windows it doesn’t allow me to do that either. What can be done. I wanted to recycle this product but I am afraid my info is still there.

I can't log on to my Asus Vivo Tab RT 3G. He has windows 8 and I can't switch the user, can you help me someone how can I switch the user? I don't see that option?

Hi, many thanks for your continued efforts. I will try your suggestion just as soon as I can get the tablet to open windows beyond the screensaver page. Don’t suppose you have any advice on how I can do that? I’ve tried again and again pressing and holdng
the power button but it simply shows the ASUS logo then the screensaver but won’t open further. Tried also the paper clip reset, same result. Every now and then the recovery options, advanced or restart, page comes up but no response from clicking on either
of them. Screen just doesn’t seem to get to a point where it allows me to enter anything. I keep trying as very occasionally it does open but its maybe one in a hundred attempts but this time its being real stubborn. Had this error message last time I was
able to open the recovery mode when I tried to repair start up, in case it helps,

“C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\Srttrail.txt”

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
