Windows 10: ASUS Vivobook Dull Colours

I got an ASUS Vivobook S 15 laptop about 9 months ago, and I haven't had any problems with it until a couple of days ago when the system updated and the colours suddenly became a lot duller. I found a few different solutions online, including changing the Splendid colour mode to vivid and updating or rolling back certain drivers, none of which have worked. The Splendid colour mode change definitely helped a bit, but it still isn't quite what it used to be. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Dull colour saturation

I just bought this new computer because it has Windows 10.(Acer Aspire 3)

The colour saturation on the windows supplied pics look great, but as soon as I go anywhere the picture looks dull like an old newspaper.

What the heck?

 

Dull screen needs help

Bulldogxx I tried both ways suggested the article that offered step by step and neither system solved the dull colors, dull screen problem. All they did was rearrange my desktop. Any other suggestions?
