Windows 10: ASUS Vivobook X202E processor different from my PC??

Hey, I have an ASUS VivoBook X202E. It was released back on 2012/2013 The processor of this laptop should be Intel Core i3-3217U, but I have Intel Core i3-2365M.. How's that possible??I have the same model, from the same brand.. Why does it say that? I've used this laptop on 3 OS, which are Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11.these 3 OS say its an Intel Core i3-2365M, I'm now on Windows 8.1, it still says that even on the OS it came installed on.help me please

Asus X202E - Missing Windows 10 Drivers?


In that case it does look as if you are going to have problems running W10 on this laptop. Have you done a Google search to see if anyone has got the X202E working with W10?

ASUS VivoBook X202E screen flickering on Windows 10 issue

I have an ASUS VivoBook X202E with Windows 10 upgraded OS. But during the Window 10 upgrade an issue came up, screen flickering on Windows 10 happened. I am looking for a complete driver that will address this issue. Please help me get a complete driver to resolve the issue.

 

Wifi problem fix after upgrade to Win10 on Asus Vivobook X202E laptop

Symptom: After upgrading from Win8.1 to Win10 Wifi unable to find or connect to networks.

Tried unsuccessfully: Full shut down and reboot. Network troubleshooter.

Laptop: ASUS Vivobook X202E.

Wifi card: Atheros AR9485.

Solution:

• Connect directly to router with Ethernet cable. Verify that you have internet access and a working connection.
  
• Click start menu (Window icon in lower left corner), 'Settings.' Search for 'device manager.'
  
• Click on Device Manager icon returned in search.
• Click arrow next to 'Network adapters.' Click the 'Wirless Network Adapter' then hit the delete key.
  
• Check the box to delete the driver software in the 'Confirm Device Uninstall' dialogue box. Click OK.
  
• Make sure the Ethernet cable is connected.
• In Device Manager, select the 'Action' tab and then select 'Scan for hardware changes.' Windows will now detect the wifi card and install fresh drivers.
• Click start menu-->Settings-->'Network & Internet...' Verfiy that the wifi slider is turned on. You should now see a list of available networks. Select a network and enter your login credentials.
