Windows 10: Asus Wifi will not turn on after disconnection

Okay, this is a new thread for the same problem. I had previously tried to fix this with suggestions of downloading a new driver and this hasn’t worked. The problem is my wifi cuts out sometimes, and when it does, my wifi on my laptop turns off completely. The icon does not show in corner. This means I cannot connect to a different wifi connection I have 2, 2G and 5G to try to deal with one cutting out. When I go through the internet diagnosis it suggests turning on wifi, I click the button, it loads, but then stops and nothing changes. When I restart the computer it might reconnect for a fe

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

Try these steps for reinstalling WiFi/Bluetooth drivers:

1)Download the latest WiFi and Bluetooth driver from your computer manufacturer's website and save it to a location on your Desktop.

2) Disconnect from the Internet, (disable the WiFi network card and unplug the Ethernet cable).

3) Go to Device Manager>network adapters, right click on the wireless network adapter and choose Uninstall, select the checkbox, "Remove the driver software for this device". Restart your computer while still disconnected from the internet.

4)Right click on the driver file downloaded previously and run it as administrator. Please install the Bluetooth driver first and then the WiFi driver.

5) Restart the computer, re-enable the network card, reconnect to the internet and try again.

If the problem persists, check for Chipset and BIOS updates

When I restart the computer it might reconnect for a few minutes but then it stops. I can obviously connect with an Ethernet cord but I use this for my work computer so I cannot connect all the time. Under device managers, network adaptors, it has Intel(R) Wifi 6 AX201 160MHZ and has an error code 43.
